Joe Waters won the solo/duo category at the 2024 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, two years after taking first at the Telluride Blues Challenge. He started on harmonica at five, added guitar and drums, and now mixes his own songs with old blues standards and deep cuts. He spent a summer opening for George Thorogood and the Destroyers.
A night of blues on a historic 1905 railroad bridge over the Kansas River, in the heart of the Kansas City Stockyards District. Food and drinks are available on the bridge.
