We had such a fun time at the Road to Memphis in Knuckleheads Garage on August 1. Thanks to all the wonderful musicians who entered our local International Blues Challenge: Solo/Duo – Johnny Murtalla and the Redbeards; Bands – Get to Steppin, Haley Burke & the Hawks, and the Jessie Glennon Band. Everyone gave it their all with raw emotions, spirited performances, and many genres of just good blues music.
Let’s now support the winners over the next months as they hold a series of fundraisers to help defray their costs to Memphis.
