DESCRIPTION:For the fourth year in a row\, The Kansas City Blues Society is partnering with Trivedi Wine to bring a wine and blues event to Kansas City and Lawrence music enthusiasts. Trivedi Wine\, located just north of Lawrence\, KS\, will host the event on the park-like lawn surrounding the winery. For the second year in a row\, the exceptional music of The Houserockers will provide the blues.  The show date is May 30\, 2026; the band will play two sets from 5:30 to 8:30. \n\n\n\nTrivedi Wine will offer their selection of fine wines for purchase by the glass or bottle as well as a selection of beers. Bucket List BBQ and That Gelato & Sorbetto Guy will have their food trucks on site. The winery is open on Saturdays from noon to 9 so come early and stay late.  Trivedi’s lawn offers shade and a great laidback vibe for music events. There are picnic tables available\, but they go fast.  Lawn chairs\, blankets\, and picnics are welcome. Outside food is allowed. Outside alcohol is not allowed. The event is free. There will be a tip jar for the band. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Kansas City Blues Society will be on hand with merchandise\, Blues Cruise raffle tickets\, membership applications and information on upcoming events. Please stop by the booth\, grab some raffle tickets and merch and say hello. \n\n\n\nTrivedi Wine is located at 1826 E 1150 Rd\, Lawrence\, KS 66049 just north of the city limits.  It is easily accessible from the central and western turnpike exits. Ample parking is available immediately adjacent to the winery and a drive-through circle offers drop-off capabilities. Well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome at Trivedi\, and please clean up after your pet. Join us and enjoy Wine & Blues at Trivedi Wine!

DESCRIPTION:Hailing from Kansas City\, Missouri\, Danielle Nicole has spent her life making music and pleasing fans\, domestically and abroad. \n\n\n\nNicole was initially influenced by her parents. She recalls seeing her father playing blues guitar and her mother singing with the group Little Eva & The Works. With her two brothers\, Nick and Kris\, she became a member of Trampled Under Foot\, which found initial popularity in the Midwest and International recognition throughout the early 2000s though 2015. \n\n\n\nDanielle embarked on her solo career with Wolf Den (2015)\, which peaked at #2 on the Billboard Blues charts and amassed 12 million Spotify streams. Cry No More (2018) followed\, the record was nominated for a Grammy in the Contemporary Blues category and debuted at number one in the Billboard Blues Charts – it also boasts over Spotify streams in excess of 13.8 million. The Love You Bleed (2024) is the most recent release and was #1 on Billboard Blues\, Amazon and iTunes. \n\n\n\nNicole has been inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame and has been the recipient of Eight Blues Music Awards. She recently did a duet with Dion on the song “I Aim To Please” as well as was featured on two songs in the theatrically released movie “Which Brings Me To You.”  \n\n\n\nThere has been no shortage of praise; Guitar World stated\, “Danielle Nicole has won respect and admiration throughout the American blues scene for her soulful\, inventive playing and tireless work ethic.” Blues Music Magazine effused\, “Nicole brings it\, bakes it\, and serves it up blazing on a silver soul-rocking platter.” The Kansas City Star declared\, “Blues and soul vocalists tend to improve as they age. Bettye LaVette is among the artists who became increasingly believable as she matured.
