Ignatius Toenjes & Paxico are expanding their live country/southern rock/blues band near Paxico, Kansas, for upcoming performances and larger plans for 2027. They already have a drummer and male harmony singer. They’re seeking keyboard/piano; 2–3 female background vocalists; two fiddlers; lead, second/utility and rhythm guitar; bass; and pedal steel. They may also add banjo, saxophone, trumpet or other horns.
Younger musicians are especially encouraged, and strong players of other ages are welcome. They value dependable, professional musicians who learn quickly, play authentic country, handle rock and blues, and can rehearse and travel as needed.
These can be paid performance opportunities, with competitive pay based on experience, ability, role and the particular show; terms would be discussed individually.
Interested musicians can email their instrument/vocal role, location, experience, performance clips and rehearsal/travel availability to ignatius@ignatiustoenjesandpaxicomusic.com. They will arrange audition details directly. Good luck everyone!
